The Bama Breeze Band has evolved from 5 musicians, who have known each other many years and have at one time or another played in other bands with each other.. Lamar (bass player and vocals) played for Johnny Paycheck and opened up for such acts as David Allan Cole, Charlie McLaine, and other artist with his band Skylock. Charles (keyboards and vocals) has played with artist such as Joe South, City Slickers, Mighty Soul Shakers, and others. Charles and Lamar played together in the late 80's with Final Approach Band. Steve (Guitar, Fiddle, Mandolin, Banjo, & Steel Guitar) backed up the Drifters back in the 70's and Cruisin in the 80's. Steve and Lamar have played together in Boz & the Boys and The Blu Kollar Band from Montgomery. Tony Castaldo is on Drums & Percussion & Vocals, has added a great part with the band with his outstanding drumming and his versatility to our list of songs. Tony has played with bands such as King Kudzu , Shakedown Monkey, and Several other artist in the area. Caryl Lawson ( vocals and acoustic guitar) is our newest member and has classical music training with a modern edgy style. She sings everything from Janice Joplin to Linda Rondstadt as well a current artist such as Adele and Melissa Ethridge. She has been performing with various artist and acoustic act int the Montgomery area..With the combined talent of every- one in the band, you have a lot of years of experience behind this band. Whether from being on the road or playing locally, they know how to entertain you and will lead the way to you having a great night of dancing, partying, and just plain having fun. They have played many College Sororities & Fraternities in Alabama, Mississippi,Tenessee, and Georgia for Luau's, pool party's, Weddings, Corporate events, and even the Biscuits Baseball Game three times most recent last year 2016.
